I've been waiting for a few months for the new "Story of Stuff" video to come out. It's call the Story of Bottled Water and while it's not quite as powerful as the Story of Stuff it's just as fascinating. I'll post the a few other videos as well.
The Story of Cap & Trade

Trey, everyone in our family should be made to sit down and watch this - I've known some of this stuff in my own heart, but seeing it taught like this is amazingly convicting! I new they made applicances to break and cars to the same - that's why I love my 94 baby! And the clothes market - designs that intimidate and pass every few days - junkie eletronics that all the people & kids have to have !!!! Why??? We really do need a revival of values, we need to get back to what really matters in this life - it's that person you look across at when you eat and the one beside you in the bed and the little kid you keep hauling to all the sports stuff that he wishes you would just chill out on and let him find out who he is???
ReplyDeleteI love you for showing this and I do wish everyone we love would watch it. Gam
I love how the people behind the videos recognize how clueless most of us are from these realities that they use cartoon stick figures to relay the message.
ReplyDeleteI am going to start praying for Harvest. Its funny because about a year ago I began buying baby girl stuff when I just saw something I just loved. I guess I was already preparing for baby Harvest. I love you Mallory. joy
